I dreamed Spruce Organizing up in 2009 as a way to start a much-needed business AND to help families and second homeowners create organized and functional spaces to live and work in. While my focus was always on organizing, I knew that minimizing was at the heart of every successful project and worked very hard to develop relationships with contractors with shared values. By partnering with area recyclers, haulers, consignment shops and charities, I am able to help clients to realize what they love and need - and successfully let go of what they don’t.  

In addition to organizing spaces, I help clients with additional projects including preparing for moves, downsizing, remodeling move-ins and outs, researching contractors, put-up and take-down of holiday decor, and a wide variety of other unique tasks. I LOVE a long-term client relationship, where I keep data on the home/homeowner and family and provide seasonal services that they want to outsource. I use an app called Airtable to record detailed information on larger clients to manage information on inventory, logistics and contacts.  


Spruce Organizing is a full-service, insured, residential organizing business that prides itself on helping each client to solve his or her unique organizing challenges.  We love Northern Michigan and are very grateful for the clients that allow us into their homes and lives. I truly believe that a well-organized space leads to a simplified and more fulfilled life.
